How it will work

A clear path from
draft to review.

The intended process makes the business context, document version and next decision visible. It is a planned workflow, not a live service portal.

  1. 01

    Agree the context.

Define the business activities, jurisdiction, document purpose and work in scope. Identify missing facts and the review needs rather than assuming universal coverage.

  2. 02

    Prepare a named draft.

Develop a system-agnostic draft with a document identity and version. Clearly surface the business facts, responsibilities and assumptions that need confirmation.

  3. 03

    Collect specific feedback.

The client reviews that exact document and version, confirms factual accuracy and requests revisions where needed. Comments should not float free of the draft they concern.

  4. 04

    Revise, then return for review.

Issue a new version with a clear change record. Repeat the feedback loop until the client is satisfied with the agreed business content or unresolved matters are explicitly identified.

  5. 05

Accept the version. Separate the approvals.

Client acceptance refers to a particular document and version. Appropriate specialist review, internal approval and authorization to implement remain separate decisions.

An illustrative walkthrough

One document.
One visible review loop.

Follow a fictional role correction through a draft. This example shows the intended distinction between client feedback, version acceptance and later review.

Cedar Example Co. · Fictional businessDraft for client review

Start with an exact document.

The client reviews a named draft and version, not an unlabelled attachment or a general approval request.

Complaints handling procedure

The operations manager records the complaint, assigns an owner and confirms the response process.

Illustrative assumption to confirm: does the operations manager own this process?

This is draft content for the fictional Cedar Example Co. It has not been checked against any actual regulatory requirement.

The important distinction

“Accepted” is not
“approved for use.”

Client acceptance confirms the agreed business content of a specific version. It does not mean that a specialist has approved it, that a regulator has signed off, or that the business has authorized implementation.

Any further professional review, internal approval, operational changes and training must be considered separately.
